Abstract: Mircea Eliade defines hierophanies as representations of a sacred moment, a revelation through a symbolic complex that shows the worldview of the cultures that made artifacts an images that allowed the rituals to recreate the cosmogonic moment. In this work I comparisons among some indigenous America’s cultures to review the similarities and differences in the field of memory and the culture of water, and the beings that tell us about their forms.
